Not actually agate or stone. It is made from layers of American Automobile paint that built up during the painting process in Detroit. The racks carrying the auto parts were baked repeatedly. Over time workers collected this layered material and made unique pieces of jewelry. This painting technique is not longer used so this material is rare and no longer can be made. Get one while you can!!
